HSBC Credit Card Review
HSBC Credit Cards are
certainly rising in popularity. In this article we take a look at
what makes this card to sought after.
There are various
HSBC credit card options, so the chance of you finding one that
suits you perfectly is quite high. So without delaying things,
let’s take a look at what HSBC offers and how each card can benefit
you.
HSBC Cards
First of all, to apply for a
card is simple. Visit the HSBC website, fill the form and click
submit. For all cards you can know the decision in as little as 60
seconds.
General Benefits
Although there are individual card benefits,
the general ones that apply to all cards are as follows:
- Pay your bill and manage your account online
for no extra charge
- Travel Assistance Services
- Fraud protection and zero liability for
unauthorized transactions
- There are extended warranties and purchase
protection options available
- Emergency card replacement and cash advances
if your card is ever lost or stolen
- Roadside service in the form of Master
RoadAssist®
- MasterRental® Insurance Coverage
Now let’s look at the
individual cards.
First up we have the HSBC
Platinum MasterCard® with Cash Back.
The main selling point of
this card is the unlimited Cashback with no spending requirements.
So basically you could spend your rewards how you want and you can
earn as much as you want.
Main Benefits
- No annual fee, which is always a good
benefit
- 0% introductory APR on balance transfers for
12 months
- Earn 1% cash back on every purchase

your spend forever
- No spending requirements either
- Begin redeeming from as low as $25
increments
- 0% introductory APR on balance transfers for
12 months
On the HSBC website the individual cards do not
list their APRs for cash and purchases, but the fine print explains
why. APRs can range from 11.49% - 20.49% and when you apply, a rate
and card would be given to you based on your credit profile.
HSBC Platinum
MasterCard® with Cash or Fly Rewards
This card promises that you can fly anywhere on just about any
airline and the main three benefits are:
- For every dollar spent you’ll earn 1 point

listed before offers no annual fee and a 0% introductory APR on
purchases and balance transfers for 6 months.
HSBC Platinum
MasterCard®
This is another simple card. With this HSBC credit card you can
look forward to a maximum processing fee of $49 and a maximum annual

Bringing up the rear is the
HSBC Platinum Secured
MasterCard®.
Compared to some of the secured credit cards on the market, this
card has some pretty nice benefits. Firstly there is no processing
fee. The annual fee is just $35 and you can begin with as little as
a $300 deposit.
When shopping for credit cards, you should always evaluate the
entire market and
compare different credit cards.
There are many other cards with equally and superior benefits to
choose from. When looking around you can see what is on offer in
the following categories:
So
go ahead, compare different credit cards and make sure the card you
finally decide upon is the one that best suits your needs and gives
