The Sunoco range of credit cards are brought to you courtesy Citibank (South Dakota). There are five different credit cards offered in addition to the Sunoco gift card. With the various Sunoco credit card offers you can receive rebates off Sunoco purchases such as gasoline and many other items sold in Sunoco stores. Below we take look at the three main credit cards offered by Sunoco.
The Sunoco Card
This is the most basic Sunoco credit card in the range but it does carry decent benefits. Firstly there is no annual fee, additional cards can be obtained free of charge and you can make bill payments online without charge.
The Sunoco card also gives you pay-at pump convenience which saves you time while on the road.
The APR is not the best at 23.24%, but if you are interested in additional features you can upgrade to the additional service and receive the Sunoco Prestige Card.
The prestige card costs an additional fee of $30 per year and with that you receive all the standard benefits of the Sunoco card plus the benefit of the Towing and Emergency Road Service Reimbursement Program. Under the program you receive up to $75 reimbursement for every towing or road service incident.
Sunoco MasterCard
To step up your benefits even further and lower your interest rate, you can apply for the Sunoco MasterCard. This card is packed with benefits such as:
• 4% rebate on all Sunoco purchases.
• Up to 1% Rebate on all other purchases.
• Access to automatic rebates - you accumulate your purchases on a monthly basis and in the next months statement your rebate would be applied against Sunoco purchases.
• There is no limit on the amount of rebate you can earn
• No annual fee applies
The APR on the Sunoco MasterCard is 20.24%.
Sunoco Platinum Credit Card
The Sunoco Platinum card has many of the features of the Sunoco MasterCard but there are some differences which are:
• The APR is 16.24%
• A higher credit limit available to successful applicants.
• You must have an annual income of at least $25,000 per year before you can apply.
• In addition to the 4% on Sunoco purchases, other rebates are earned at 0.5% for spending up to $7500 and purchases over that attract a 1% rebate.
Both the Sunoco MasterCard and Platinum card carry a 0% balance transfer rate for 6 months. If you want to transfer a balance you need to wait for Sunoco to send you a balance transfer pack which takes about three weeks to arrive.
Sunoco offers account management facilities so you can check balances, make payments to your account faster and get answers regarding your Sunoco credit card account.
The Sunoco Gift Card
The final card in the Sunoco credit card range is the Sunoco gift card which is designed to be used instead of cash at any of Sunoco’s 4600 stores nationwide. You can order your gift cards online, simply add the denomination of the card you want to your shopping cart and pay at checkout.
If you need to view your card balance, this can be done online and by viewing your latest receipt.
If you shop at Sunoco often, these cards are packed with benefits that you can use. If however you want to shop around, you would be able to find more general rewards credit cards and various gas credit cards on the market for you to make a comparison.
