Small Business Credit Cards Review
Small business credit cards are a great way to track business
expenses and keep tangible records of all your small business
related purchases and expenditures. Not only that, many small
business credit cards now are being offered with the same kinds of
perks, bonuses, and rewards that personal credit cards advertise.
The gold standard of small business credit cards is the American
Express card. They have great commercials and good rates, but they
are not the easiest small business credit cards to get.
Discover offers a great small business credit card called the
Discover Business Card (OK it’s not a creative name, but it’s a good
card), with a 0% introductory interest rate offer, 13.99% APR
thereafter, no annual fee, and cash-back rewards ranging from 5% off
business supplies, 2% off gasoline, 1% off most everything else, and
up to 20% off online business-related purchases. You can read more
about the Discover Business Card and apply for it online at:

CitiBusiness Card offers the same 12 month 0% introductory rate
with no annual fee, and a regular APR of 8.25%, a better rate than
Discover and the card still comes with some purchase discounts, if
not cash-back rewards. CitiBusiness will also send you quarterly
statements for your taxes or to give to your tax accountant, and
your accountant will appreciate this enormously. It’s so much easier
than that manila envelope full of little paper receipts. You can
apply for CitiBusiness Card at:

If you simply must have that Amex card, check out the American
Express Simply Cash Business Credit Card. It offers 5% cash back on
gas, office supplies, and wireless services; a 0% 12-month
introductory interest rate followed by a regular APR as low as 5.25%
(based on your credit), and 3-30% off at companies like FedEx,
Delta, Hertz, and more. Also, it does offer the option of carrying a
balance or paying it off in full every month. Apply for that one at:

For anyone who runs a small business, a small business credit
card can really simplify record keeping and buying supplies and
other business related items. To see more choices check out:

It also is a good idea to talk with your lending institution
about their business credit cards and lines of credit for small
businesses.
Many banks and credit unions actively court small business
customers by offering great packages of services that include
checking accounts, savings, business CDs, lines of credit, business
loans, and business credit cards.
If you already do business with a regional bank or credit union,
and like doing business there, ask them about their small business
products. They might pleasantly surprise you.
